Earning the trust of a client and coming back to complete a second phase is always rewarding

 

Over a year ago we complete the first phase of this technology fit out for our long term client Hermes. This project was driven by the success of that initial phase, and their expansion across the building to take a full floor of this central Leeds building. This office is key for Hermes to develop new technology solutions and to attract and retain staff in a very competitive sector and region of Leeds.

 

Building on the first phase of the project we’d completed previously, the clients expectations and desire for high quality technology and seamless integration with the office fit-out was unsurprisingly high.

Working again very closely with their fit out company, we ensured that all of the installation and fit out details for the technology were supplied in good time to support the very aggressive timescales of the project.

We also had the challenge of of the emergence of the world wide COVID19 pandemic, which was add pressure to delivery timescales, product and resource availability.

We quickly recognised that there might be issues due to the rapidly changing world events. Our logistics team managed precisely the scheduling and delivery of equipment, even taking early delivery of some key items to ensure that there would be no delays to the project.

Bringing forward some of the installation work also provided more time, and as the country headed to lock down, we completed all of the installation we could four days ahead of schedule.

We still need to complete final commissioning and sign off, but are very nearly there.
