Boardroom Conferencing

Outstanding high quality audio and conferencing for large boardroom space

Large meeting spaces are always a challenge when it comes to conferencing. Video camera technology has advanced hugely with AI to work better in these environments, but it is often the audio that presents the greatest challenge.

coodart designed and delivered this completely integrated boardroom for conferencing and collaboration, considering all aspects of the technology as well as the acoustics, lighting and overall design of the space.

With the room measuring just over 14 metres in length, designing this to space to have complete video and audio coverage was always going to be a challenge.

The design, look and feel of the space was equally as important as getting the technology right. We design every aspect of this room, from the interior design, acoustics, lighting and how the furniture layouts in the room would work.

The key requirement was flexibility of both how the room would be used, and how it might adapt for future needs as well. Providing full room coverage for the microphones, and not having any furniture fixed solutions meant that installing in the ceiling was the only practical option.

Allowing both the interior design and technology to be considered together meant that coodart co-ordinated all of the ceiling mounted technology with the lighting and the air handling units.

Flexibility of technology meant looking at solutions that not only performed well for the space, but could adapt over time.

The Shure Stem technology allowed components to be mixed and matched, to ensure that optimal performance was delivered throughout the room.

All of the components are connected via standard CAT6 cabling, so additional components can be added very easily. The system also auto configures itself to the environment, ensuring maximum performance in the room.

Ceiling microphones and speakers were complemented by front facing speakers, which helped give direction and purpose to the audio, especially when conferencing.

The design of this boardroom ensured the perfect integration of furniture, technology and design.
