Hermes, the consumer delivery specialist, recently opened its purpose-built, state-of-the- art automated parcel distribution hub in Rugby, the biggest of its kind in the UK.

We had previously helped Hermes with their Boardroom and Head Office operations in Leeds. With this major project on the horizon, they approached us to design and install a wide variety of collaboration spaces including the boardroom, meeting rooms, training rooms, and a flexible breakout space right in the heart of their new Super Hub.

The Hermes project team visited our showroom in Leamington Spa where we were able to demonstrate a broad, yet detailed, understanding of how furniture integration and technology augment a more cohesive and usable workspace that encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas and information.

Phil Hubbard, IT Project Manager, had very clear objectives. Each of the spaces had to be simple, reliable and supportable. We achieved this through stringent product selection and a consistent approach to the user experience in each of the collaboration areas.

“We had a requirement from our business to create a wow factor AV solution for our new flagship Hub. Upon engaging with coodart we soon got to see how they thrive on these types of challenges. We arranged a review at coodart’s Showroom in Leamington Spa, which further built our confidence in their approach to these types of projects. Following a great collaborative installation program, this further strengthened the perception and work ethic of coodart within our business. Our customers, suppliers and wider business now appreciate IT’s contribution to the development of the site, which only goes further to underpin coodart’s involvement which is a great experience from start to finish, with continued support.”
