Technology with an edge underneath London Waterloo station to support the sale of retail space above.

Technology and graffiti rarely go together, but when coodart was approached by an architect firm we’ve worked with previously, with the brief to great a “rough urban marketing suite”, we jumped at the challenge.

Located off the famous Leake Street tunnel that runs beneath London’s Waterloo station, these old victorian spaces were to become the sales and marketing suite to support the real estate sales of the new retail units that are part of the refurbishment of the old Eurostar platforms.

The space needed to be both chic meeting space, as well as supporting the interactive sales tools that have been designed specifically for this project, including both sales applications and VR gaming walk throughs of the retail units.

Coodart worked closely with the team of architects and designers to deliver the vision of an urban and edgy space, whilst ensuring that all of the technology could be installed quickly and easily into what would effectively be a temporary marketing suite.

Whilst typically we focus on the display, presentation and audio technology, here we also designed and delivered the wired and wireless networking, as well as making sure 4G internet access worked beneath what is effectively the station platforms above.

Delivered in record time, and designed to perfectly support the sales process, this marketing suite shows what can be done with a great vision, limited time and desire to deliver something different.

“Network cabling, displays, WiFi and 4G all installed and working in record time, and with some complex logistical challenges, great work by the coodart team.”
